Renewable Energy Electrical Apprenticeships
THIS COURSE IS FUNDED FOR THE 16 – 24 YEAR OLDS
(Minimum entry requirement GCSE Grade C in Maths & English. If have lower grade training can be provided)
NVQ Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations (Electrical) Qualification
Leading to renewable energy pathway
To qualify for the funding, you must be working 30 hours or more on a weekly basis. This applies to learners with existing employers. If you are not employed you can still register as we work with employers who are recruiting Electrical Apprenticeships
On completion of the NVQ Level 2 Diploma PEO (1 year electrical qualification) you have the following pathway to NVQ level 3 Diploma Electrotechnical services course which is delivered over another 1 year:
This is a JIB Electrician status qualification and TCT will offer free training and examinations in;
- 2382-12 City & Guilds 17th Edition
- 2372 City & Guilds SOLAR PV installations
- 2392 City & Guilds Fundamental Inspection & Testing
- Course delivery is based on a 1 day week day release
- Additional training can be provided to complete all modules
- Full PPE inclusive of CSCS card provided by TCT
- The Course is assessed both in classroom and onsite. Full mentoring is available
- Course Apprenticeship wage scheme is paid at a minimum hourly rate of £2.60 per hour
- All sectors are accepted (industrial/commercial & domestic)
