City & Guilds 2356 NVQ Level 3 On-site Assessment

The Electrotechnical NVQ Level 3 onsite Assessment is a qualification designed primarily for candidates who have already achieved level 1 & 2 in the Electrical Installation. It is achieved by building a portfolio of electrical work which is carried out in a variety of specific areas, and this work is then verified by TCT Assessors via on-site assessments.

There is no time-limit for completion of an NVQ, however all candidates must either have completed or be currently undertaking training for the Technical Certificate.

On-site assessment is a requirement for the work-based portfolio of evidence, so the NVQ cannot be achieved without having gained on-the-job experience either in employment or work experience with a qualified electrical installer.

On completion of the course, candidates will be qualified electricians and able to apply for a JIB Gold Card.

Training Start Times: 9.00am to 5.00pm

Duration: 3-6 Months – Price includes 2 Onsite assessment visits. If it is advised you will require additional site visits:- Charges would be charged at £240.00 per additional site visit (There is a maximum of 4 site visits to achieve full 2356 NVQ Level 3 certification).
