Certificate in the Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings – Vocational (No. 2393 )

The new 2393-10 Certificate in Building Regulations for Electrical Installations Contractors in Dwellings is a new qualification offered by City & Guilds. The primary aim of this qualification is to enable practising electricians, operating in dwellings, to gain an understanding of how their electrical installations must comply with all relevant building regulations. It will also be suitable for those working in the building trades and others, such as surveyors, who require a working knowledge of how electrical installations in dwellings can affect the building construction. For the purpose of this qualification, a dwelling is defined as; a unit of residential accommodation occupied by a single person or by people living together as a household, including a household where care is provided for residents.

Achieved Qualification: City & Guilds 2393 Certificate in the Building Regulations for Electrical installation in Dwellings

Examination: Duration: 40 minute Assessment Type: Multiple choice No: of items: 20

Part P accreditation

Learners who successfully obtain the 2382, 2392-10 and the 2393-10 will have the knowledge required to obtain their Part P through certification bodies. Please note candidates will be able to self certify their installations after they have been accepted on to a Part P scheme by one of the scheme providers such as NICEIC ELECSA, NAPIT etc
